UMMI Grants Achievement Scholarships to 140 Students

Sukabumi, ummi.ac.id – Universitas Muhammadiyah Sukabumi (UMMI) has awarded "kadedeuh" (scholarships) to outstanding students who have successfully secured funding from various programs under the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology, Directorate General of Higher Education, Research, and Technology. The scholarship presentation occurred on Tuesday (13/2/2024) at the UMMI Auditorium.

One of the most impactful programs showcased in this event is the Student Creativity Program (PKM). Through PKM, students have not only demonstrated their creativity and innovation but have also made significant contributions to the development of science and technology in Indonesia. The PKM winners, whose work has left a lasting impression, will be recognized and appreciated for their dedication and hard work, with 13 groups securing funding in 2023.

In addition to PKM, the scholarship presentation includes the Strengthening Student Organization Capacity Program (PPK Ormawa). This event serves as an essential moment to appreciate and honour outstanding students who have successfully gone through various funding programs from the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology, Directorate General of Higher Education, Research, and Technology, with four groups securing funding in 2023.

Furthermore, the Student Entrepreneurship Development Program (P2MW) also garnered attention at this event. Through P2MW, students have been guided and encouraged to become independent, high-quality entrepreneurs capable of creating new job opportunities and contributing to the development of Indonesia's economy, with four groups securing funding in 2023.

In his heartfelt speech, Dr Andri Moewashi I. Haq., S.Th.I, M.M., expressed his deep gratitude and unwavering support to all the students who have secured funding from PKM, PPK ORMAWA, and P2MW. Their achievements, he emphasized, are a testament to their hard work and dedication.

"I am very proud and grateful to the students who have passed the rigorous selection process in the Belmawa grant scheme programs, whether the PKM team, PPK ORMAWA, or P2MW. Hopefully, this recognition will be the beginning of achieving even greater achievements in the future," he hoped.
