Sukabumi, ummi.ac.id – As part of its efforts to enhance the quality of its education and teaching, the Health Polytechnic Foundation (POLTEKES YAPKESBI) conducted a benchmarking activity at the Faculty of Health at Universitas Muhammadiyah Sukabumi (UMMI) on Wednesday (20/3/2024) held in meeting room B4.

Lecturers and teaching staff from both educational institutions attended the event to exchange information and experiences related to best practices in the field of health sciences. The event began with a warm welcome from UMMI's Vice Rector I, Dr. Asep Muhamad Ramdan, S.E., M.M., who emphasized the importance of collaboration between educational institutions in enhancing the quality of competent graduates in the health sector.

"We are honored to host this benchmarking activity, and we hope this meeting can be a forum for sharing knowledge and experiences that benefit both parties," said Asep.

Furthermore, the activity included a discussion forum on the importance of research in developing health sciences and strategies to strengthen alumni networks to enhance career opportunities for graduates. The activity also included visits to several educational facilities at UMMI, such as health laboratories and centers for the study of public health, which provided new inspiration for the POLTEKES YAPKESBI delegation.

In conclusion, both institutions agreed to explore further cooperation opportunities through joint research, exchange of lecturers and students, and curriculum development programs.

"We hope that through this benchmarking activity, POLTEKES YAPKESBI and UMMI can continue collaborating to create educational innovations that enhance the quality standards of health science education in Indonesia," concluded Vice Director I of YAPKESBI.

This benchmarking activity strengthens the relationship between POLTEKES YAPKESBI and UMMI and inspires and motivates both institutions to continue innovating and contributing to the development of health sciences in Indonesia.
