Sukabumi, ummi.ac.id – Dr. Lusi Sulilawati, M.Hum., a lecturer in the English Literature Program at Universitas Muhammadiyah Sukabumi (UMMI), successfully defended her dissertation. The defense occurred in the Faculty of Cultural Sciences Meeting Room at Universitas Padjadjaran (UNPAD) Bandung on (07/02/2024). It was attended by the UMMI's academic community, colleagues, and family members.

In her dissertation, "Euphemisms in Sundanese Language in Sukabumi City," Lusi presented exciting research findings and provided an in-depth analysis. The examiners posed constructive questions and comments, which Lusi addressed effectively.

Following an intense question-and-answer session, the dissertation defense concluded successfully. Lusi Susilawati received high appreciation from the examiners for her hard work and dedication in completing this dissertation. Consequently, Lusi officially earned her Doctoral degree from Universitas Padjadjaran.

This dissertation defense not only marked a significant milestone for Lusi but also served as evidence of the success of the higher education system at Universitas Muhammadiyah Sukabumi (UMMI) in producing quality academics who contribute to scientific research.
