The Teacher Education for Early Childhood Education Study Program at UMMI Undergoes Crucial Re-Accreditation to Uphold Educational Excellence

Sukabumi, ummi.ac.id – To ensure the quality of education within the Early Childhood Education Teacher Education (PG PAUD) program, the Independent Accreditation Agency for Education (LAMDIK) conducted a field assessment visit. This visit is part of the accreditation process to ensure that the quality of education provided by the PG PAUD program meets established standards. The field assessment occurred on Thursday and Friday (February 22-23, 2024) in Meeting Room B4.

This field assessment involved a comprehensive evaluation of various aspects related to the management and implementation of the study program. These aspects include Criteria for Vision, Mission, Objectives, and Targets (VMOT), Criteria for Governance and Collaboration, Criteria for Students, Criteria for Human Resources, Financial Criteria, Facilities and Infrastructure, Educational Criteria, Research Criteria, Community Service Criteria, and Tridharma Outcomes.

UMMI's Rector, Dr. Reny Sukmawani, M.P., who was present, expressed UMMI's commitment to improving the quality of education, particularly in the Early Childhood Education Teacher Education program.

"We welcome and fully support the assessment process conducted by LAMDIK. This assessment is an opportunity for us to receive constructive feedback to improve our educational quality," she said.

During the visit, the assessment team was impressed by the active involvement of all parties, including observing learning facilities, interviews with lecturers and students, and reviewing related documents. One of the assessors, Prof. Dr. Masganti Sit, M.Ag., commended this collective effort.\
