Overseeing the 2024 Election, UMMI Deploys 29 Students to Conduct Exit Polls and Quick Counts in Sukabumi and Cianjur

Sukabumi, ummi.ac.id – Universitas Muhammadiyah Sukabumi (UMMI) demonstrates an extraordinary contribution to the Exit Poll and Quick Count activities in the Sukabumi – Cianjur region. A total of 29 UMMI students are entrusted to serve as Information and Interview Responsible Personnel (PIC) and interviewers in the survey institution of the Muhammadiyah University Rector Forum (PTMA).

In the upcoming election, scheduled for February 14, 2024, UMMI students will actively participate in data collection and analysis to support the implementation of exit polls and quick counts in this area. With enthusiasm and dedication, they will carry out their duties effectively as part of the survey team tasked with obtaining accurate and reliable data.

According to UMMI Rector Dr. Reny Sukmawani, M.P., the involvement of UMMI students in overseeing this election is a tangible manifestation of Universitas Muhammadiyah Sukabumi's commitment to supporting the democratic process and increasing public participation in general elections.

"We are very proud of our students' active role, as they are directly involved in the important process of national elections in 2024. They are involved as KPPS committee members, interviewers, jppr, and others. It will be a valuable experience," she said.

With the presence of UMMI students as PIC and interviewers, the exit poll and quick count activities will significantly contribute to providing accurate and transparent data regarding voter preferences in the Sukabumi-Cianjur region. This is a positive step towards increasing public participation in the democratic process in Indonesia.

UMMI students are ready to carry out their duties with integrity and responsibility. They hope that their contribution to the exit poll and quick count activities will positively impact the community and the democratic process in the Sukabumi-Cianjur region.
