Sukabumi, ummi.ac.id – PT Jaminan Kredit Indonesia (JAMKRINDO) and Muhammadiyah University Sukabumi (UMMI) synergized to hold a public lecture with the theme "Digital Financial Literacy: Accelerating Online Business." The event took place on Thursday (18/1/2024) at the UMMI Auditorium.

The objective of this event was to provide deep insights to students and the general public about the importance of financial understanding and the utilization of digital technology in developing online businesses.

The public lecture featured Prita Widy Wardani, the head of the Jamkrindo Sukabumi branch, Ir. Willy Setiawan, an entrepreneurship lecturer at UMMI, CEO of PT Wyn Karya Perkasa, Charisma Wibowo, a Digital strategist expert in building capabilities, and Muchtar Koswara is the Business owner of Cikopi Mang Eko.

In her address, Dr. Reny Sukmawani, M.P., expressed that this public lecture would undoubtedly provide practical insights and comprehensive perspectives, particularly for students and all participants.

"This public lecture serves as tangible evidence of Jamkrindo's and UMMI's commitment to supporting the younger generation and local entrepreneurs in achieving success in this digital era," she stated.

Dr. Reny hopes that this initiative can contribute to supporting the development of the digital business ecosystem in Indonesia, especially in Sukabumi City and Regency, in line with the spirit of economic empowerment and enhancing financial literacy amid the current digital era.
