70 students of 1^st semester Nursing Department of UMMI took an oath of preclinical as provision before they go directly to worksites in the 3^rd semester later. The oath ceremony was held at Auditorium of UMMI on Wedesday, February 2, 2018.

Hendri Hadiyanto, the Head of Nursing Department said that before the students go directly into worksites such as PUSKESMAS, hospitals, and clinics in the 3^rd semester, they have to be prepared first. Students are going to face the patients and their families with good ethics and professionalism. They will be also carrying the good name of UMMI.

Through this program, students are expected to have good character, sense of empathy, and responsibility. The parents were also invited to the event to remind the students that because of their parent's hard work that they can take a study in college. 

One of the students, Intan Lestari said that in this event, students must take an oath to keep the ethics, discipline, responsibility, sense of empathy and other positive behavior when going directly into wokrsites , because we will face various types of patient.
