Ikatan Dokter Indonesia (IDI) Celebrates 73rd Anniversary at UMMI
Sukabumi, ummi.ac.id – To strengthen the collaboration between the Indonesian Doctors Association or Ikatan Dokter Indonesia (IDI) and the Faculty of Health at Muhammadiyah University Sukabumi (UMMI), the two entities unite in an innovative program called "IDI Goes to Kampus." The event, "Strengthening the Noble Tradition, Unity, and Service to the People of Indonesia," took place at the UMMI Auditorium on Tuesday (14/11/2023).
Through this collaboration, IDI Sukabumi and the Faculty of Health share knowledge, experiences, and resources to shape a generation of doctors who are not only medically competent but also possess strong character and a commitment to serving the community. The program's activities include a talk show, health check-ups, and free blood donation, open to the entire UMMI academic community.
In her address, Dr. Ike Rachmawati, M.Si., expressed her hope that this collaboration would mold a generation of doctors who are not only medically adept but also have a strong character and a deep commitment to serving the people of Indonesia with the esteemed traditions they uphold.
Furthermore, the Chairman of IDI Sukabumi, Dr. Kote Noordhianta, Sp., THT. M. Kes. emphasized that this event provides valuable knowledge for students that can be implemented in the future. "The knowledge imparted today not only covers medical aspects but also encompasses humanitarian values and dedication to providing the best service to the community," he said.
On this occasion, the Acting Mayor of Sukabumi, Drs. Kusmana Hartadji, M.M., expressed that this collaboration would benefit all students at Muhammadiyah University Sukabumi, especially those in the Faculty of Health.
By involving students as an integral part of this effort, IDI Sukabumi hopes to nurture and enrich the noble traditions of the medical profession, laying a solid foundation for better healthcare services in the future, in line with the spirit of serving the people of Indonesia.
