Sukabumi, ummi.ac.id - Student Executive Board (DPM) of Muhammadiyah Universities Across Indonesia held the Declaration and National Silaturahmi DPM PTMI themed "Strengthening the Role of Students as Pillars of Democratic Development in Advancing Indonesia in Progress."

The event lasted for four days from Monday to Thursday, June 24-27 2019 at Muhammadiyah University of Sukabumi. In addition to the gathering, the event also contained a national seminar on "The Role of Youth in the Nation's Development" with the speaker Abdul Rafur, M.Sc. (Assistant Deputy for Scouting Youth and Oversight Organizations to the Deputy of Youth Development of the Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Indonesia) and socialization of 4 pillars.

After holding a Gathering and a National Seminar on Muhammadiyah PTM DPM throughout Indonesia, which was joined by 14 PTMs, the Declaration of the DPM PTM Silaturahmi Forum was established in Indonesia.

Quoted from the Chairperson of the Coordinator of PTPM DPM, Ramadhany, the establishment of the alliance of Muhammadiyah College Student Representative Councils throughout Indonesia (PTPM DPM) is a form of awareness of the role and function of students as a young generation that will bring change to the nation and country.

"Be aware of the role as the duty and function of students as the young generation who will be the bearers of change for the nation and state". Ungakp Ramadhany.

Recognizing very well that service in unity and unity is very important in student organizations, therefore legislative students are formed at Muhammadiyah Higher Education.

"We realize that service in unity and unity, with this we are the Muhammad College of Indonesian Student Representatives Council (DPM PTMI) forming student organizations and especially in the legislative domain". He concluded.
