Auditorium, ummi.ac.id - Still in the atmosphere of Eid Al-Fitr 1440 H, Muhmmadiyah University of Sukabumi (UMMI) held Ba'da Ramadhan Seminar and 16th UMMI Anniversary. It took place at UMMI Auditorium and was held on Wednesday, June 19, 2019.

The event was opened with a reading of The Holy Qur'an by one of UMMI students. And then a report from the head of committee whom also a chairman of Al-Islam and Muhammadiyah Institution, Andri Moewashi Idarul Haq, S.Thi., M.M. was delivered. In his report, he explained that this event was a routine activity held annually by Al-Islam and Muhammadiyah Institution of UMMI.

Then the event continued with the report of the performance of the past year by the Rector of UMMI. In his report, Dr. Sakti Alamsyah, M.Pd said, "UMMI is one of educational institutions of Muhammadiyah Association engaged in the field of higher education. It was established on June 13, 2003, which has turned 16 this year. In this short span of time, UMMI was able to build internal and external synergy of the campus. The strength of Internal Institutions owned by UMMI is to have 23 study programs consisting of: 3 Diploma Programs, 18 Bachelor programs, 1 professional program and 1 Masters program, which are accredited "B" totaling 16 Study Programs, 1 "A" accreditation study program . the remainder is in the process of accreditation towards B. Other reinforcement is seen in the HR field where UMMI now has 15 Doctors from various fields of science and 25 UMMI Lecturers who are currently pursuing further study in domestic and foreign Doctoral programs. Besides that, consistently every year UMMI sends 20 lecturers from 20 study programs to study Doctoral programs. Other improvements can be seen from the repair and addition of physical facilities, namely class facilities, laboratories, mosques, sports facilities, food court, UMMI Mart, all of which are located in the UMMI campus. Alhamdulillah, in February 2019 UMMI has inaugurated a new building for the addition of study rooms. In addition to the strength described above, I can say that several other important developments are the University of Muhammadiyah Sukabumi in running chess and has been supported by a well-accredited Library (A).

Furthermore, it was followed by remarks from the Secretary of the Muhammadiyah Regional Leadership of West Java who was also the UMMI Daily Board of Trustees, H. M. Rizal Fadhilah, S.H.

Stepping on the core program is the recitation with the speaker Prof. Dadang Kahmad, M.Sc. (Muhammadiyah Central Executive). The material that was presented was the theme "Enlightening and Advancing Religion". In his explanation he explained that the importance of honesty in each individual in building an Islamic society.

After completing the material presentation, then the activity continued with the provision of Al-Quran Reading Writing Mentoring scholarships to 41 students and scholarships mentoring worship to 10 students.

After the prize handovering, the program continued with Halal for UMMI Lecturers and Employees and also had lunch together.
