Muhammadiyah University of Sukabumi (UMMI) and National Standardization Agency of Indonesia (BSNI) held a launching ceremony of SNI Corner at Auditorium of UMMI. The ceremony was started from 09:00 A.M. and attended by lecturers, students, academicians, BSNI parties, small to medium-business man from urban and district areas.

A ribbon cutting by Dr. Reny Sukmawani, Vice Rector I and Erni Ningsih Haryadi, the BSNI Director of Information and Society indicated The official opening of SNI Corner of UMMI.

Erni Ningsih said that among all colleges in Indonesia, there are only 19 that have SNI Corner and UMMI is one of them now.

Yanti Sundari, S. Sos., the head of UMMI Library aslo expressed her opinion. She said that with the availability of SNI Corner, we could easily know the standards that are needed for academic process of faculty and its departments. She hoped that every next research by either lecturers or students can fulfill the standards. And as for the alumni of UMMI, she hoped that they could have more understanding about the standards of process, standards of materials and quality standards of product.
